From Inclusion and Diversity to Implementing EEEDI
At EBRAINS, diversity and inclusion aren’t just values—they’re essential to our scientific mission. Diverse teams with inclusive practices produce better research, more innovative solutions, and stronger collaborations across disciplines and cultures. As a pan-European research infrastructure implementing European principles and creating inclusive collaborative practices isn’t optional — it’s fundamental to our success. We refer to EEEDI as appreviation that connects the principles (Ethics, Gender Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) that guide how we work together
How EBRAINS Implements EEEDI
Behavioral Guidelines
To translate our vision into daily practice, EBRAINS has developed a Code of Conduct that guides collaborations throughout the infrastructure. This Code of Conduct was co-created with the community and is modeled after the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.
Teams are encouraged to adapt the Code of Conduct to their specific needs, creating common ground and having a reference when needed.
