Platform Efficiency

How we Measure it

Grafana Dashboards

The purpose of the dashboards is to provide a visual overview of key metrics that can inform decision-making and project management. Here’s a general overview of what they typically include and aim to achieve:

  • Issue Tracking: The dashboards are used to monitor various types of work items such as tasks, bugs, incidents, and more, which are categorized by type. These could reflect day-to-day operations, maintenance, development tasks, and unexpected issues requiring attention.
  • Temporal Trends: With a timeline view that shows issues over time, the dashboard provides insights into patterns of issue reporting.
  • Resolution Metrics: Tracking the average resolution time for issues, both overall and broken down by group or project, allows management to assess the efficiency of response efforts. This metric is crucial for evaluating team performance and the effectiveness of current processes.
  • Support for Continuous Improvement: By analyzing this data, we can identify areas for process improvement, resource allocation, and more. We can also set benchmarks and goals for issue resolution times and maintain service quality.
